The evolution of breast surgery is continuously evolving, in the last years so many innovations and new concepts appeared: breast conservative surgery, oncoplastic techniques, perforator flaps, fat grafting, acellular dermal matrixes, anatomical implants, bi-dimensional tissue expanders … Nowadays it is time to make a critic overview about what we are doing in this field and it could be an excellent chance for re-defining breast surgery and working on the new milestones for the future.
The meeting will consist of three days of lectures, life surgery transmissions and breakout sessions. Current techniques will be presented with a clear focus on optimizing outcome and reducing complications. Controversy and cross-fire debates will be the major features of this meeting in order to get audience interactivity, to define practical consensus and to promote more research and assessment on the hot topics.
